My main concern when painting this was to get a lot of feeling in the eyes while staying really subtle, and also to try out a technique for painting blonde hair where you mostly only paint the highlights, a la John Singer Sargent (my favorite artist). The lack of detail in her clothes is intentional, also inspired by Sargent's style. Any comments or critiques are more than welcome.
